Logistics
The meeting will be held in Bangkok, Thailand, at the Ambassador Hotel. It is situated in the heartland of Sukhumvit Road, Bangkok's commercial and entertainment district. It is half an hour from Bangkok's Don Muang International Airport and conveniently located near the Nana Skytrain Station. All participants will be lodged at this hotel for the duration of the meeting.

PARTICIPANTS: Please exchange some money at the airport. If you take the "limosine" taxi (see below), save your receipt. You will not receive a receipt from any other taxis, but remember the amount so that you can be reimbursed.
Taxi from airport to hotel should be about 200 THB by the meter, plus up to 60 THB for expressway fee (depending which route the driver will take). This is for the public taxi, which has a stand on the curbside of the arrival terminal. If you take the taxi from the desk inside the air-conditioned part of the terminal, it will cost about 600 THB (but inclusive of all the toll fees) since this is a 'limousine' taxi. The cheapest alternative would be the airport bus, which also has a stop just outside the arrival terminal. Take the AB3 line which will stop directly in front of the Ambassador Hotel and costs 100 THB (frequency is 1 every 20 minutes).
Once you are at the hotel, there are many banks and authorized money changers around the Ambassador Hotel which give a better rate than the hotel front desk.
