Michael (Mickey) Glantz is the first Director of CCB, a new NCAR Center that he suggested in October 2004 and was created within the SERE Laboratory in April 2005. CCB will focus on public outreach and education, especially Climate Affairs.
Mickey has been a Senior Scientist since 1983, and is the only social scientist at NCAR to hold that title. He has been writing climate-related editorials for many years, first for Boulder's Daily Camera, and now for his own website at www.fragilecologies.com.
