  • climate extremes
  • seasonality

Why Call this Climate Affairs?

The goal is to attract as many students and professionals as possible to the issues related to climate-society-environment interactions. To have called this multidisciplinary effort "climate science" would likely have caused those interested in social science or humanities to shy away. To have called it "climate policy" might have caused those interested in climate science to shy away. The notion of "Climate Affairs," however, prompts people to inquire into its meaning and purpose. At the least a discussion of climate across fields will have been catalyzed.
